The Doer’s Lab brings young people together with industry leaders to discuss and implement projects focused on developing and fostering what an inclusive economy in New Bedford can be with the rise of offshore wind coming to the area. Offshore wind will create 83,000 jobs in the U.S., and 62 offshore wind turbines will be built 30 nautical miles off the coast of New Bedford, launching this national green energy initiative.
